Key Features
- You can sharpen from any direction, without wearing out one part of the stone.
- Perfect for sharpening long blades, such as Yanagiba knives, Takobiki knives, Bread knives and Cake knives.
- The base secures the sharpening stone stable. It would be more stable if you put a wet cloth underneath.
- The #320 grit stone is suited for fixing the chipped blades. The #1000 grit stone is perfect for everyday maintenance. You can use the #3000 stone for extra sharp edges.
Use & Care
- Soak the stone to saturate it prior to use.
- Splash some water on the stone as you sharpen the blades.
- Make sure to use the stone on the flat, stable and non-slippery surface.
- Wash it well with water after use. Air dry and store it away from the direct sunlight.
- In case a part of the stone is chipped after a fall, for example, make sure to smooth out the chipped part so that the blade won’t be damaged when sharpening with it.
